В статье представлено авторское видение эволюции внешней политики Великобритании в отношении Российской Федерации. Обращается внимание на то, как в период нахождения у власти консервативных правительств (во втором десятилетии XXI в.) произошла смена внешнеполитического курса страны, появилась концепция «Глобальная Британия», в рамках которой определился вектор сегодняшних британо-российских отношений.

The article presents the author’s vision of the evolution of British foreign policy towards the Russian Federation. It draws attention to how during the Conservative governments in power (in the second decade of the 21st century) there was a change in the country’s foreign policy course, the concept of «Global Britain» appeared, within which the vector of today’s British-Russian relations was defined.
