Автор рассматривает вопросы категоризации населения Соединённых Штатов Америки в разрезе изучения современного состояния мусульманской общины и фокусирует своё внимание на особенностях расовой и религиозной категоризации американского населения, в частности, указывает на специфику категории «мусульмане» в контексте демографических замеров.

The author considers the categorization of the population of the United States in the context of studying the current state of the Muslim community and focuses on the specifics of racial and religious categorization of the American population, in particular pointing out the specifics of the category «Muslims» in the context of demographic measurements
