В статье рассматриваются аспекты реформирования военно-промышленного комплекса США, раскрытые в книге М. В. Александрова, ставшей одним из первых серьёзных исследований, посвящённых этой актуальной и сложной проблеме. Достоверность исследования обусловливается тем, что оно опирается на широкую источниковую базу. При этом ряд документов в русскоязычной версии публикуется впервые.
The article discusses various aspects of the reform of the US military-industrial complex, considered in the book by M.V. Alexandrov, which became one of the first serious studies devoted to this urgent and complex problem. The reliability of the study is due to the fact that it is based on a wide source base. At the same time, a number of documents in the Russian version are published for the first time.
