В статье рассматривается современное состояние тайваньского вопроса в контексте «единого Китая». Уникальное значение Тайваня для Китая обеспечивает его приоритетность в стратегии КНР. Позиция США и других влиятельных игроков региона по Тайваню воздействует на решение вопроса, формируя худший сценарий, т. е. возможность военного конфликта.

The article examines the current state of the Taiwan issue in the context of “one China”. Taiwan’s unique importance to China ensures its priority in China’s strategy. The position of the U.S. and other influential players in the region on Taiwan influences the resolution of the issue, forming the worst-case scenario, i.e., the possibility of military conflict.
