Attention is paid to the main directions of political-philosophical military-ethical thought: traditionalist and revisionist. The conclusion is given about the low applied potential of the revision approach and the dubious prospects of its impact on international relations.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>справедливая война</kwd><kwd>bellum justum</kwd><kwd>jus ad bellum</kwd><kwd>jus in bello</kwd><kwd>теория агрессии</kwd><kwd>военная конвенция</kwd><kwd>реализм</kwd><kwd>пацифизм</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>just war</kwd><kwd>bellum justum</kwd><kwd>jus ad bellum</kwd><kwd>jus in bello</kwd><kwd>theory of aggression</kwd><kwd>military convention</kwd><kwd>realism</kwd><kwd>pacifism</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Иванов А.В.
