Демонстрация военной силы является важным компонентом комплексной стратегии КНР по утверждению национального суверенитета в Южно-Китайском море. Дноуглубительные работы и оснащение рифов инфраструктурой двойного назначения позволяют Китаю расширить возможности мониторинга, разведки и ответа на потенциальную угрозу в Южно-Китайском море.

Military power projection is a powerful component of the PRC’s comprehensive strategy to assert national sovereignty in the South China Sea.Dredging and equipping reefs with dual-use infrastructure allows China to significantly expand its monitoring, reconnaissance and response capabilities to potential threats in the South China Sea.
