В статье анализируются исторические и идеологические аспекты американской концепции «смена режимов». Рассмотрено её соотношение с курсом США на подготовку «цветных революцией» и «продвижение демократии», а также её основные идейные составляющие: «американская исключительность» и мессианство, внешнеполитический глобализм, чёрно-белое видение мира и двойные стандарты. Прослеживаются религиозные корни доктрины «смена режимов», позволяющие трактовать её как секулярную форму американского постпротестантского прозелитизма.
This article analyzes the historical and ideological aspects of the American concept of «regime change». Its correlation with the U.S. course on the preparation of «colored revolutions» and «promotion of democracy», as well as its main ideological components are considered: «American exceptionalism» and messianism, foreign policy globalism, black and white vision of the world and double standards. The religious roots of the doctrine of «regime change» are traced, allowing to interpret it as a secular form of American post-Protestant proselytism.
