Abstract

The fragmentation of media space makes it increasingly difficult for the state to pursue an effective information policy. Despite the objective factors limiting the influence of state television, it continues to be an important communication resource. The historical, cultural, ideological and political commonality of the peoples of Russia and Belarus, as well as common challenges determine the similarity of the vectors of development of the countries’ information policy and the importance of state television
