Distortion of the History of the Second World War is the Threat to the Security of Europe

Abstract
The article has analyzed the trends in the approaches of the German political class, scientific community to the reasons and results of the World War Two. Discussions indicate transformation of the given perspective into the significant factor of the European and world politics. Russia takes into consideration the evolution of the positions of the German politicians and experts in this sphere while building uneasy relationships with the European Union, the USA and the countries of the post-Soviet area.
