Abstract
At present new hotbeds of instability are emerging all over the world due to various factors. This includes the COVID-19 pandemic, armed conflicts and increased struggle for access to natural resources. The role and importance of Central Asia is constantly growing. This region has become an arena for the intersection of the interests of the most important international players, a zone for the deployment of major integration associations and initiatives, such as the Eurasian Economic Union and the “Silk Road Economic Belt”.
