Analysis of Taiwan’s military unification with mainland China: The context of the new geopolitical situation

Abstract
The article examines the current state of the Taiwan issue in the context of “one China”. Taiwan’s unique importance to China ensures its priority in China’s strategy. The position of the U.S. and other influential players in the region on Taiwan influences the resolution of the issue, forming the worst-case scenario, i.e., the possibility of military conflict.
