War of the Worlds: in Search of Global Security

Abstract
The article recognizes the impossibility of abandoning war as an instrument for resolving international contradictions. Based on the analysis of the consequences of the geopolitical transformation of the XIX-XXI centuries, an attempt to forecast the military-political situation is made and an approach to building a balanced system of global military security is proposed
