Beijing’s Arab Bets

Abstract
In recent years, China has intensified its policy in the Middle East and the Arab world, developing relations with almost all countries. The SinoArab summit confirmed that the Arab states are also ready to cooperate with it with great interest in the future “after oil”. China is ready to go far beyond the hydrocarbon component of this interaction, and its “Road and Belt” initiative is consonant with regional development programs.
