The military-political aspect of the formation of the USSR

Abstract
The article examines the influence of the military component on the formation of the USSR. Attention is drawn to the complex and controversial aspects of the creation and reform of the Soviet armed forces. Historically justified parallels are drawn with the events of the period of the collapse of the country in 1991.
