In the vanguard of Russian cyber diplomacy

Abstract
The article analyses the Russian approaches towards ensuring the international information security (IIS) in the context of functioning of the correspondent structural unit of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia — Department of International Information Security. The author describes the main directions of the Russian state policy in the sphere of IIS both within the framework of international forums (UN, CES, Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, Collective Security Treaty Organization, etc.) and in bilateral relations.
