Abstract
The United States is to some extent restructuring its Middle East policy, in which the hydrocarbon component is becoming a shadow of the military political one. Recognizing the importance of the region, Washington sees the main task in preventing the predominant influence of China there, while countering Russia and Iran also remain on the agenda, but the attitude towards the problem of the Arab-Israeli settlement and the fight against extremists is becoming reflexive.
