The evolution of the principle of a just cause in the theory of a just war

Abstract
The principle (criterion) of just cause, in conjunction with five other principles, constitutes the concept of jus ad bellum, which defines the right to go to war within the framework of the just war theory. At present, the just war theory has a significant impact on the policy and law of the world community.
