Abstract

Public and state institutions are involved in identity formation, which ensures the uniqueness and integrity of a particular community. In complex, heterogeneous, and therefore potentially conflicting societies, the problem of identity is felt especially acutely. The article presents an analysis of the influence of the religious factor on the mechanisms of constructing social reality in North Macedonia, and tendencies in the process of forming a civic identity are observed.

Abstract

In the XIII-XV centuries Pax Mongolica influenced the formation of the Russian state (government, army organization, technology, culture). In the twentieth century the USSR helped Mongolia in gaining independence from China (1911–1924), defending against Japanese aggression (1939), obtaining international recognition at the UN (1945–1961), contributed to the development of the economy, health care, education and culture of the Mongolian People’s Republic (1921– 1990). In the XXI century the countries have reached a new level of bilateral relations and prospects for strategic interaction within the SCO, the EAEU and the Greater Eurasian Partnership.

The potential of expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation between Russia and the countries of the region is analyzed. Recommendations for the development of bilateral economic relations in each country are presented. The directions and strategies of multilateral cooperation within the framework of the Union State, the EAEU and the CIS are justified.

Abstract

The authors of the article, using extensive biographical material, show the formation of Anton de Kom as the leader of the national-liberation movement of Suriname. In his political struggle, Anton de Kom was guided by the principles of uniting the Surinamese people in the fight against the colonialists, and his tragic death in a Nazi concentration camp contributed to the creation of the image of a national hero of the country. Anton de Kom is considered to be one of the creators of modern Suriname.
