Abstract

The article presents the author’s position on the problem of Eurasian identity from the point of view of Russia’s place and role in historical development. This process cannot be described using any exclusive set of factors but covers the whole range of natural historical and socio-cultural conditions. Due to objective prerequisites and actual directions of Eurasian development, Russia occupies a central place in the formed identity.

In the context of international relations transition from the unipolar to multipolar world a new period is coming that is described from the U.S. leadership’s standpoint as the strategic competition with such major powers as Russia and China. The American military power plays a special role here. The article focuses on the essence and peculiarities of the U.S. conceptual vision of the competition and the role of the U.S. armed forces. Along with that the article describes the spectrum of the American military power application to reach global goals.

Abstract

The latest practices of social and psychological engineering are significantly changing the mental environment of modern societies: the human brain is becoming the battlefield. Achievements in the sphere of high technology, associated with information operations and using the tools of “soft power”, make it possible to introduce false paradigms, falsify meanings and values into the minds of large masses of people. The article shows the evolution of the concept of “cognitive warfare” on the basis of analytical materials, analyzes the methods of forming the image of a hostile “alien”.

Abstract

The article examines the prerequisites for expanding interaction between Russia and India, taking into account the continuing status – a particularly privileged partnership. The analysis of bilateral and multilateral interaction carried out in the article showed that the potential for cooperation between countries remains practically unrealized.

Part 1 is devoted to the analysis of bilateral interaction in the field of the fuel and energy complex. It is shown that energy potential can become a catalyst for deepening interaction and transition to a “cooperation” format between countries.

The article is based on law enforcement practice on the recognition of the genocide of the atrocities of the Nazis and their accomplices against the civilian population of the Soviet Union during the Great Patriotic War. The legal acts justifying the use of judicial coercion measures in historical retrospect and the conceptual apparatus are also given.

Abstract

The article examines the remarks of I.V. Stalin on the draft textbook of political economy in 1950. The remarks concerned both the methodology of presenting the material and the subject of political economy, the principle of historicism in presenting the material, taking into account the socio-economic conditions that have changed since the time of Marx. These remarks seriously influenced the All–Union discussion organized by the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks in November – December 1951.
